1. Descriptive Text
A descriptive text is used to describe a person, animal, or thing. It usually contains:
- Identification: Who or what is being described.
- Description: Characteristics, such as color, size, shape, behavior, etc.
2. Language Features
- Present Tense: She is tall. He has blue eyes.
- Adjectives: beautiful, big, long, etc.
3. Example:
This is my cat. Its name is Kitty. It is white and has blue eyes. It likes to sleep all day.
